OK folks, being the inveterate tweaker that I am - high-end audio, performance cars - I just can't leave this bike alone.
1. Did the white spacer removal and low rpm fuel adjustment. Hmmm...not bad. No more backfire and a bit better midrange pull.
2. Ordered the Supertrapp. Its claimed to give a 15% HP improvement. Boy I sure hope so, because the bike needs some more hootspah to really be fun.
3. I took off the sissy bar to give the back a cleaner look. My question is - is there a short bar, or end caps available to cover over the blunt squared holes where the sissy bar attached?
4. When I had the seat off, I also opened up the air filter box. Geesh, what a convoluted, restricted mess that is. There must be a way to get this thing to flow better. Has anyone tried? Is there at least a less restrictive aftermarket filter that will fit?
If someone else has been down this road, I'd like to hear about it, so I don't do something stupid or reinvent the wheel.
